Basketball Recap: Hadley Luzerne Comes Up Short

Hadley Luzerne extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were dealt a 78-22 defeat at the hands of the Fort Ann Cardinals. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Fort Ann, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Ann to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kadynce Cutter, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Cutter has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 67% every time he's hit the court this season. Marcus Stowhas was another key player, going 7-for-11 on his way to 14 points and eight assists.

Hadley Luzerne will take on Northville in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Fort Ann and Burr & Burton will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
