West Brunswick extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 8-11 in the process. They put the hurt on the Southern Nash Firebirds with a sharp 6-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

As for Southern Nash, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since March 27th.

For Southern Nash's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Parker, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Brunswick will be taking part in a tournament against West Stanly at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Colts a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Southern Nash, they will square off against Northern Nash at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
