Basketball Recap: West Noble Comes Up Short

West Noble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Eastside Blazers 68-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-11 last Tuesday.

Despite the loss, West Noble saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ava Delong almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Delong a new career-high in points.

West Noble's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Eastside, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1.

West Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-22 loss against Garrett on the 24th. As for Eastside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-23 victory against Central Noble on the 24th.
