Preview: Murray vs. Webster County
Murray have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Webster County at 7:00 PM . Murray don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After a string of three wins, Murray's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They took a serious blow against Mayfield, falling 28-63. Murray were down by 28-49 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Webster County fought the good fight in their overtime match last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Fort Knox by a score of 27-30. Webster County's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it six losses in a row.
Murray simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Webster County 71-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Murray since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
