Jay put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the T.R. Miller Tigers as they made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Royals have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Layna Lowry was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. Lowry was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kaylee Gilbreath was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mylee Frazier, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Jay's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
