Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Western

Western had won two straight games and Angela Jasso did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Pioneers blew past the Saddleback Roadrunners 3-0 for which the team can thank Jasso, who had 20 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Western's got stronger as the match went on, holding Saddleback to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Western's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Saddleback, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Western will challenge Century at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saddleback, they will face off against Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
