Football Game Preview: Liberty Lancers vs. Colfax Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Liberty Lancers will venture away from home to face off against the Colfax Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Liberty came up short against DeSales and fell 38-27. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Irish are ranked third).

Despite the loss, Liberty got top-tier performance from Drew Piersol, who picked up 129 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 68 yards on only five carries.

Meanwhile, Colfax strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past Priest River with points to spare, taking the game 34-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty and nudges their season record down to 3-2. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Colfax, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Liberty strolled past Colfax in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 27-8. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
