Softball Recap: Apple Springs Eagles vs. Wells Pirates
The matchup between Apple Springs and Wells on Tuesday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. Apple Springs came up short against Wells, falling 18-6. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Apple Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Lauren Lankford was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
