Softball Recap: Buhl Comes Up Short

If Buhl was feeling good fresh off their 16-3 takedown of McCall-Donnelly on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Cole Valley Christian Chargers on Saturday, falling 20-3.

Buhl saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalyn Pearson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Pearson also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Buhl now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cole Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Buhl will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Teton at 12:00 p.m. The Indians' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 12.4 runs per game this season. As for Cole Valley Christian, they will take on Sugar-Salem in a tournament on Saturday.
