Baseball Recap: Palm Springs Comes Up Short

Palm Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Shadow Hills Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Palm Springs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drake Conrad Perez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Palm Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Shadow Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Palm Springs by a score of 6-2 later that day.
