Naperville Central lost against Downers Grove North back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Redhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Redhawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Angelika Krob was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last five matches.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Downers Grove North, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.

Coincidentally, Naperville Central and Downers Grove North will both be playing Hinsdale Central the next time they take the court. The Redhawks will head out to face the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
