There's no place like home for Carey, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Castleford Wolves on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Carey never let Castleford on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 26-24.

Carey's offense was headlined by Emily Dahlstrom and Abbi Whittier, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Andie Simpson and her 19 assists. Finally, Whittier was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Carey's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Castleford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carey will venture away from home to challenge Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Castleford, they will head out on the road to face off against Rimrock at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
