McCurdy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Penasco Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-9.

McCurdy's record now sits at 11-3. As for Penasco, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McCurdy will take on rival Mora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Penasco is set to square off against their familiar foe Escalante at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
