Baseball Recap: Minster Comes Up Short

Minster has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.64 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 15-2 to the Marion Local Flyers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Flyers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Minster has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season. As for Marion Local, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Minster will head out to take on Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Roughriders at the right time seeing as the Roughriders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marion Local, they will host Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
