Baseball Recap: Palmetto Tigers vs. Bloomingdale Bulls

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palmetto had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Bloomingdale Bulls. The win was familiar territory for Palmetto who now have four in a row.

Palmetto saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameran Banta, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

On Bloomingdale's side, they got a good showing from James Osting, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Osting has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

Palmetto has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. As for Bloomingdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
