Danville hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They had just enough and edged the Champaign Central Maroons out 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted against the Maroons since February 8, 2019.

Despite the loss, Champaign Central still got an impressive performance from Luke Swanson, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Bush, who posted 19 points and seven boards.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Champaign Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Danville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-46 loss against DeKalb on the 15th. As for Champaign Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-41 defeat against Peoria on the 19th.
