Secaucus took a 30-point defeat the last time they faced off against Lyndhurst, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Secaucus Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 victory over the Lyndhurst Golden Bears on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Secaucus' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lyndhurst, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Secaucus is taking a road trip to square off against Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rutherford's defense has only allowed 24.8 points per game this season, so Secaucus' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lyndhurst, they will square off against Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lyndhurst is facing Harrison at the right time seeing as Harrison is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
