Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jorge Islas stepped things up a notch to give Roosevelt the 'W'. Islas picked up 92 receiving yards and one score, which was good enough to set a new career-high in receiving yards.

Islas and Roosevelt will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on October 2. The match will pit Islas up against the Huskies' star pass catcher Tyler George. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat.
