Preview: Pueblo vs. Amphitheater

Amphitheater have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will square off against Pueblo at 7:00 PM. Amphitheater are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Amphitheater were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their matchup against Walden Grove last Friday. Amphitheater were completely outmatched, falling 6-57 to Walden Grove. Amphitheater were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-43.

Meanwhile, Pueblo put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Rio Rico to the tune of 57-0. That looming 57-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pueblo yet.

Pueblo's victory lifted them to 4-5 while Amphitheater's defeat dropped them down to 4-5. In their victory, Pueblo relied heavily on junior Fernando Medina, who rushed for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns. Amphitheater will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
