Flag Football Preview: Garner Trojans vs. Cleveland Rams
The Garner Trojans will square off against the Cleveland Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garner's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three contests, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Garner would be wise to avoid a repeat of their last game when they take on Cleveland seeing as the team posted more yard in penalties than they did on offense (which somehow didn't cost them the game). The Trojans had just enough and edged out Smithfield-Selma 8-6.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Garner's defense and their three sacks. Amari Brown was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself. Mckenzie Armwood got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
