Basketball Recap: Brady Takes a Loss

Brady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 49-35 bruising from the Arthur County Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-41 two weeks ago.

When it comes to explaining why Brady lost, don't look at Brody Telitz. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points and six boards. Telitz is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last seven games he's played.

Arthur County found their leader in freshman Carter Storer, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Storer has scored at least a third of Arthur County's points. Kegan Allen was another key player, going 8 of 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Brady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Arthur County, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Brady didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-38 loss against Wallace on the 4th. As for Arthur County, they have also already played their next contest, a 38-36 defeat against Garden County on the 6th.
