Soccer Game Preview: Moffat County vs. Grand Valley

The Moffat County Bulldogs will take on the Grand Valley Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Moffat County's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three matches.

On Thursday, Moffat County was able to grind out a solid win over Colorado Rocky Mountain, taking the game 4-2. Moffat County haven't had any issues with Colorado Rocky Mountain recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Moffat County hit Colorado Rocky Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Osbaldo Becerra (2), Giovane Quezada, and Grady Martinez.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Grand Valley was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against Summit, falling 5-0. The shutout was out of character for Grand Valley seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Ethan Diaz, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Grand Valley squad sat out for Thursday's matchup. With Diaz sidelined, Khairi Nelson got his first action of the season.

Grand Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-3. As for Moffat County, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
