Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Trojans vs. Rockford Christian Royal Lions        
        
		
             With a playoff game on the line, Timothy Christian rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Rockford Christian Royal Lions. The  win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on 36 straight.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17,  25-21.
  Abby VanderWal paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. VanderWal got some help from 
 Elizabeth Alex and her 24 assists. VanderWal was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with five aces.
 When it comes to explaining why Rockford Christian lost, don't look at  Julia Irvin. Despite the final result, she  had 16  assists. Irvin has been hot for a while, having  posted 12 or more  assists the last 30 times she's  played.
 Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 36-2. As for Rockford Christian,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at eight games  and leaves them with a 30-5-2 record.
 Timothy Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against IC Catholic Prep on the 7th. Rockford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
