New Kent took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-21.

New Kent's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Grafton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.
