Baseball Recap: Beekman Charter Comes Up Short

Beekman Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Cedar Creek Cougars.

Beekman Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerrick Edmonds, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Edmonds launched this season.

Beekman Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cedar Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Beekman Charter has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Delhi Charter on the 13th. As for Cedar Creek, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Cedar Creek Cougars face off against St. Mary Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
