Basketball Game Preview: Redlands Terriers vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

Redlands hasn't had much luck against Redlands East Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Redlands Terriers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Redlands is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Beaumont and fell 58-30. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1112th, while the Cougars are ranked 521st).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Sean Wimberly, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Robert Crisostomo, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 34-34 at halftime, Redlands East Valley was not quite Cajon's equal in the second half on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Cowboys. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (58), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Redlands East Valley now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Redlands, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
