Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran). They came out on top against the Southwood Knights by a score of 17-13 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cadets as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Southwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran will be playing at home against Fort Wayne South Side at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwood, they are taking a road trip to take on Maconaquah at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.31 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
