Football Recap: Thornton Fractional North Skates Past Carver with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bradley-Bourbonnais, Thornton Fractional North was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 34-0 win over the Carver Challengers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Meteors needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The victory got Thornton Fractional North back to even at 1-1. As for Carver, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Thornton Fractional North and Carver will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Meteors are set to square off against their familiar foe Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carver will challenge rival Corliss at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
