Preview: Munroe Bobcats vs. Lincoln Trojans
Munroe has been on the road for ten straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lincoln Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Munroe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Lincoln is ranked 124th).
Last Saturday, Munroe came up short against L.E.A.D. Academy and fell 47-38.
Meanwhile, Lincoln entered their tilt with Madison County with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lincoln walked away with a 58-49 victory over Madison County on Saturday.
Munroe has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Lincoln, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
Munroe barely slipped by Lincoln when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 55-54. Does Munroe have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincoln turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
