Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs 61-13. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Grand Traverse Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nate Dix, who posted six points. Weston Kinney was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

The win was the fourth in a row for St. Mary, bringing their record for this year to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Grand Traverse Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

St. Mary has already played their next match (against Ubly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grand Traverse Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-45 victory against Central Lake on the 27th.
