Basketball Game Preview: Billings Christian Warriors vs. Foothills Community Christian Falcons

The Billings Christian Warriors will face off against the Foothills Community Christian Falcons at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Billings Christian is looking for their season's first victory.

Billings Christian came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point loss back in January. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Absarokee by a score of 37-35 back in January. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Foothills Community Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-35 heartbreaker at the hands of Yellowstone HomeSchool. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 14-3 in the first quarter.

Billings Christian will have to contain Kimber Koteskey as she made an impact in Foothills Community Christian's last game. She posted 13 points. The dominant performance gave Koteskey a new career-high in points. Kelcie Fulbright was another key player, putting up seven points.

Foothills Community Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Billings Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
