Soccer Recap: Pembroke Pines Charter Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doral Academy, Pembroke Pines Charter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Flanagan Falcons a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Jaguars were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Marissa Martin, who's now up to four this season.

Pembroke Pines Charter's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Flanagan, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Pembroke Pines Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flanagan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
