Carolina Friends has gone a perfect 5-0 against Cristo Rey Research Triangle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Quakers will be playing at home against the Bulls at 5:15 p.m.

On Friday, Carolina Friends came up short against Burlington Christian Academy and fell 3-1. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Carolina Friends started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-14.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Cristo Rey Research Triangle sidestepped Henderson Collegiate for a 3-2 win.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (99-98) Cristo Rey Research Triangle actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 15-8.

Carolina Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Carolina Friends took their win against Cristo Rey Research Triangle in their previous meeting on September 12th by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Quakers repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
