Soccer Recap: North Sanpete Comes Up Short

North Sanpete lost against Union back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. North Sanpete have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Sammi Allred, which was the first she's scored this season.

North Sanpete's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Union, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, North Sanpete will take on Carbon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carbon will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something North Sanpete surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union, they will square off against Emery at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union will be up against Emery's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.83 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
