Soccer Recap: Putnam County Comes Up Short

Putnam County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Towers Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on March 4th.

Putnam County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Towers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Putnam County will face off against Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Social Circle will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Putnam County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Towers, they will square off against Jasper County at 5:30 p.m. on March 27th.
