Soccer Game Preview: Fairless vs. Coshocton

The Fairless Falcons will take on the Coshocton Redskins in a tournament on Wednesday.

Fairless took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Washington by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for Fairless in their matchups with Washington: they've now won three in a row.

Fairless hit Washington with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bailee Espenschied, Adaline Borojevich, and Myla Robinson.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Coshocton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They and Tri-Valley finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Coshocton have been dealt a draw since back in September.

With that draw, Coshocton's record moves to 8-7-2. As for Fairless, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-4.

Fairless took their win against Coshocton in their previous meeting back in October of 2016 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
