Softball Recap: Ashford Academy Comes Up Short

Ashford Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 13-8 to the Niceville Eagles.

Niceville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Ashford Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niceville, they will face off against Houston Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Niceville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
