Cranford barely beat Hanover Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 13-6 win on Saturday. That looming 13-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Cranford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Hanover Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Cranford will venture away from home to square off against Westfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hanover Park, they will face off against Cedar Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
