Basketball Recap: Western Skates Past Logansport with Ease

Western lost to Logansport back in December of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Western Panthers blew past the Logansport Berries, posting a 56-25 win. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Western can attribute much of their success to Ellyse Walden, who posted 13 points and five boards. Ella Rawlings was another key player, going 5 of 12 on her way to 15 points.

Western was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Logansport only posted five assists.

Western's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Logansport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Western didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-55 victory against Hamilton Heights on the 14th. As for Logansport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-18 defeat against Rochester on the 15th.
