Basketball Game Preview: Manassas Park Cougars vs. Warren County Wildcats

Manassas Park hasn't had much luck against Warren County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Manassas Park is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Skyline and fell 71-32. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Hawks are ranked 76th).

Meanwhile, Warren County played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against James Wood, falling 44-24. The Wildcats have struggled against the Colonels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Manassas Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
