Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul lost against Galena on September 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Galena to victory were Makaila Matthews and Dakota Bennett. Matthews had six digs and three aces, while Bennett had three digs and three aces. Brooklyn MacIntosh also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Galena, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Looking ahead, St. Paul will take on Uniontown on Tuesday. As for Galena, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Chetopa on the 20th.
