Vista PEAK Prep lost to Rangeview back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vista PEAK Prep Bison came out on top against the Rangeview Raiders by a score of 61-54.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista PEAK Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Knakai Starks, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Starks is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Amirah Pena, who posted 18 points along with five assists and four steals.

Vista PEAK Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rangeview only racked up nine assists.

Despite the loss, Rangeview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Devyn Davenport dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. That's the most points Davenport has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Kilmer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Vista PEAK Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Rangeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Vista PEAK Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-42 victory against Denver South on the 31st. As for Rangeview, they have also already played their next contest, a 61-44 defeat against Northfield on the 31st.
