Softball Recap: St. John's Takes a Loss

St. John lost against Lutheran South Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. John's Mavericks lost 14-1 to the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers.

St. John's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Peakes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

St. John's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lutheran South Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will venture away from home to face off against Lanier at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lutheran South Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Cooper at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
