Aurora faced Riverside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Greenmen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Beavers. The victory was familiar territory for the Greenmen, who have now won 19 matches in a row.

Aurora's win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aurora will challenge Austintown-Fitch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
