Crest is 0-10 against Kings Mountain since September of 2021 but things could change  on Tuesday. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountaineers  at 6:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Crest comes in on three and Kings Mountain on 21.
On Thursday, Crest got the win against Ashbrook  by a conclusive  3-0.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Crest was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9,  25-6.
Crest found their leader in sophomore  Casey Goodrum, who  had ten  digs and two  assists.
 Crest  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 17  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Kings Mountain made easy work of Huss  on Thursday and carried off  a  3-0 win.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kings Mountain took every set by at least 22 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-3,  25-2.
 Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 29-1. As for Crest, they now  have a winning record of 14-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  match:  Crest has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 7.9  aces per game. However, it's not like Kings Mountain struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.5  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
