Volleyball Game Preview: Concordia Fighting Orioles vs. Windsor Greyhounds

The Concordia Fighting Orioles will face off against the Windsor Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Concordia came up short against St. Paul Lutheran and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Fighting Orioles in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 16-25, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Concordia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Gordillo had nine digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Windsor also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cole Camp by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Concordia, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

Concordia took their victory against Windsor in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Fighting Orioles repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
