There's no place like home for Grundy Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 36-35 photo finish over the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines on Friday. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 66-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Grundy Center's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Dike-New Hartford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
