Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-42 loss at the hands of the Timberland T-Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the T-Wolves are ranked 23rd).

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Timberland, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Coming up, Washington will head out to take on Lutheran South at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Timberland has already played their next contest (against Hazelwood West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
