Northeastern won the last time they faced Cambridge City Lincoln and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights blew past the Golden Eagles 11-1. Considering the Knights have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hailey Elsrod made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabella Peed, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Macey Oler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Northeastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Northeastern's record is now 10-7. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Northeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will take on Randolph Southern at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
