Basketball Recap: Penney Comes Up Short

The Penney Hornets lost 62-38 to the Crest Ridge Cougars on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Penney's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Crest Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penney will square off against Cameron at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crest Ridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Concordia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
